Planar solid-state transistor (PSST) technology drove the vacuum tube era to its extinction by offering lower power consumption and extreme scalability. A few decades later, however, PSST technology was running on the verge of its limits where no impactful performance improvements could have been forecasted. Non-planar architecture was found to be the path to mitigate shortcomings; the new era of FinFET transistors started to meet the ever-growing demand for higher processing power all at a smaller form-factor. FinFETs are considered a basic form of a 3D structure which offers superior performance metrics to 2D-planar transistors. Nonetheless, more complex 3D geometries are believed to exhibit a technology shift as opposed to incremental performance improvements. However, the conventional semiconductor manufacturing techniques that are originally developed for 2D transistors and improved for FinFETs are virtually unable to produce complex 3D geometries. At DUJUD, we are developing 3D semiconductor manufacturing schemes at micron-scale while striving to commercialize our cutting-edge manufacturing technologies for electronic applications. We are proud to be the landmark for the next technology shift in the $500 billion semiconductor market and driving the industry to the next level.
